General Secretary

Rev. John Gaturo Gatu in an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. He joined chaplaincy ministry in the year 2010 when he was appointed the chaplain of Alliance high School. Later he was appointed to the chaplaincy of Presbyterian University of East Africa where he still teaches and serves as a part-timer. He has served in the leadership of NACC since 2010 mainly as the Board Secretary. 

Rev Gatu holds a Bachelor of Education from Egerton University, Bachelor of Divinity from St. Paul’s University, Diploma in Ecumenical Studies from the Ecumenical Institute – Bossey Switzerland, Master of Arts in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi, and he is currently undertaking Master of Theology in St. Paul’s University Limuru, Kenya.

Rev Gatu is also serving as the Director of Theological Education by Extension Program of the PCEA church, Ag. Director of Communications in PCEA Church, and the Vice Chairperson of the International Ecumenical Movement- Kenya Chapter.
